Twelve quiet
years.
One loud
next move.

Scout has been around since 2013 — the engine, the patents, the operator relationships. New ownership. New leadership. A platform we're rebuilding from the rail up. This is the part where it gets loud.

Same name.
New company.

In April 2026, Impact Win acquired Scout. The share purchase agreement was signed on 10 March 2026; the share transfer closed on 22 April 2026. The IP, the operator contracts, the regulatory footprint — all of that stayed. Over the next twelve months, almost everything else is changing: ownership, leadership, product roadmap, and where the money goes when a wager settles. And this time we're not rebuilding alone — our operators are in the driver's seat. Every roadmap call, every release, every impact decision goes through them first. Keep what took a decade to build. Rebuild the rest, with the people who actually run the books.

01 / OWNERSHIP
Acquired by Impact Win, April 2026.
Scout now sits inside the Impact Win group. The mandate: B2B fantasy with an optional impact rail. Patient capital, not flip-and-exit.
02 / LEADERSHIP
Two leaders. John on strategy & commercial, Anna on operations.
John Ryott — CEO & CCO, twenty-plus years in iGaming. Anna Zakipour — COO, running operations and the AI-native way of working. Profiles below.
03 / PRODUCT
v3.0 platform. Rebuilt, not refactored.
New plug-in surface. New impact rail. Two-week go-live. Same wallet, same KYC, no migration on the operator side.
// LEADERSHIP · CEO FILE 01 / 06

The CEO has
been doing this
since 2003.

Fantasy has been the most under-built layer in iGaming for a decade. Operators kept treating it as a marketing widget. We're treating it as the core engagement product — and we're going to ship it like one.

The merger has its own job title now.

Eight years in IT management and product development — most recently as CEO of This is Deploy in Stockholm, building digital products alongside game development studios and operator-side clients. The job at Scout is the same craft, scaled up: take two organisations, find the duplicate work, kill it. Make AI native to how we operate.

// THE BIG SMALL CHANGE

One small change
we think is huge:
Impact inside the
game itself.

For years, "give back" lived in a CSR PDF. We're moving it into the wager itself. A larger share of every play routes straight to grassroots clubs — visible in the lineup screen, settled on the receipt, audited every quarter. Not a side project. Part of the game.

01 / PRODUCT FIRST
Operators don't churn off a great product. They churn off neglect.
We ship every fortnight. Public changelog. Roadmap visible to operator product teams. No more 18-month silences.
02 / IMPACT, AUDITED
If a percentage of every wager funds clubs, the receipts are public.
Quarterly disbursement reports. On-chain settlement layer. Operators can show players exactly where the money went.
03 / OPERATOR-OWNED
It's their wallet, their KYC, their brand. We're the engine, not the front-end.
Headless by default. White-label only when they ask. Integration in two weeks, not two quarters.
04 / THE YEAR AHEAD
Twelve steady years. One year of listening. A whole new product.
Scout has run reliably for over a decade — that's the foundation. The next twelve months are different in tone: more time spent with operators and players, fewer assumptions, and at the end of it a brand-new fantasy sports product built around what we hear.

Twelve years,
one inflection.

Scout was built early, scaled fast, then settled into maintenance mode for most of the late 2010s and early 2020s. The April 2026 acquisition is the first real product reset since 2018, and the next twelve months are when the work actually ships. Here's the honest version.
