Looking forward, CFO Andreas Olsen said:
“I am incredibly grateful and honoured to accept the promotion to Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Scout Gaming Group. I want to thank the board and our CEO for their confidence in me, and I am incredibly excited to take on this new challenge.
During my time with Scout, I have learned much about the details of our B2B and B2C operations and the industry.
As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and with my extensive background working with diverse clients both at the auditing companies EY and Olstad, I feel confident in my abilities to handle the responsibilities that come with this role. My experience has exposed me to various industries and companies, both listed and unlisted. This allowed me to understand the similarities and peculiarities of different sectors and apply this to ours where applicable. I am confident in having a solid foundation and the tools to acquire and understand the requirements of my new challenges and tasks that might arise.
My academic background includes a Master’s degree in Accounting and Auditing and studies in Finance. These have provided me with the tools to understand the complexities of financial management and ensure that our organisation is positioned for success. Establishing sincere trust between our major and minor investors and Scout Gaming will be one of my major priorities.
Once again, I would like to express my gratitude for this opportunity. I look forward to collaborating with our investors and partners to drive our company’s financial goals and achievements.”
